The twice monthly evening meetings are normally illustrated talks by a top quality speaker on a variety of railway orientated subjects - home and abroad; steam and modern traction; passenger and freight; narrow and standard gauge; historical and current; main lines, branch lines and tram lines; travel and photography; preserved and departed; infrastructure and operational.

The meetings start at 19:45 and
are scheduled to finish between 21:45 and 22:00. A fifteen minute break
for
refreshments is taken at about 20:45.
